For the 2026 Long Island Youth Summit the top prize for best project overall is $1000.
The winning submission for the best research paper project will receive $500.

The 2026 Long Island Youth Summit will take place at St. Joseph’s University’s, NY, Patchogue Campus on Friday, April 17, 2026.
The website for the 2026 LIYS has been launched. You can start working on your project now.
Please click the button at the top menu to register your intention to submit a project. The project submission button will be added to the website on January 1, 2026, at which time you will be able to submit your project.
The top prize for best overall project is an award of $1,000.
The prize for best research project is $500.
